One new feature you'll see inside The
Print Shop 3.0 is that all of the assets you put on a page have a
"lock" in the upper right-hand corner. This is how we made
layers even more usable. Let me explain.
Have you ever tried putting one
graphic near another… and then every time you try to select one of
them, the other moves? Locking solves that problem!
Simply click on the lock to literally lock an object in
place. This means you can't move it or edit it - and you
definitely can't make a mistake with it. If you want to
access it again, simply click the lock again and the object is
unlocked.
One great part about locking an object
is that the layers still work. You can still put objects in
front of it or behind it.
