Rulers, Printer Margin Lines, and Fold Lines
Rulers
Rulers are used to show you where
exactly on the page you're positioning an object. By default
the rulers are turned on.
On the view tab you can toggle the
rulers on and off.
To turn the Rulers off do the
following:
- Click on the View Tab.
- Uncheck the Box for Show Rulers.
You can also convert the Unit of
Measurement from Inches to Millimeters.
To do this do the following:
- Click on the Help Icon in the Top corner of The Print
Shop.
- Click on Preferences...
- On the General tab select your preferred unit of measurement
between Inches and Millimeters.
Printer Margin Lines
Printer Margins are a preset are on
your project where your printer cannot print.
On the view tab you can toggle these
lines on and off. This however does not make it so your
project can print to the edge of the paper. That option is
only available in your printer settings and only if your printer
support borderless or full bleed printing.
To turn the Printer Margin lines off
do the following:
- Click on the View Tab.
- Uncheck the Box for Show Printer Margins
Fold Lines
Fold Lines do not print, but they show
where your project would need to be folded so you don't mistakenly
insert an image where a page might crease.
On the view tab you can toggle these
lines on and off.
To turn the Fold lines off do the
following:
- Click on the View Tab.
- Uncheck the Box for Show Fold Lines
